THE AMAZING RACE

Friday 17 April 2015 ... After a really stressful day at our business review yesterday we had an 'Amazing Race' team-building planned for this afternoon.  Surprisingly we all made it and set off at 12h00 for our first destination.  I was in a team with Bongani, Marlini and Nokwanda.  Gerhard, my area manager, made the clues really difficult with lots of information but we eventually figured the first one to be Jackal Creek Golf Estate ... We had to take a photo of at least 2 of the team members, send it to him and then he sent us the next clue by What's App.

Second destination ... Monte Casino

Third and final destination ... the feet of the statue of Nelson Mandela at

 Bongani, me, Nokwanda and Marlini ... We were the second team in.

Des, Shanaz, Albie, Charmelle and Ashley ~ Charmelle and Ashley were part of the team that won the race.

When we left we had to battle the most horrendous traffic back to the office as there were many power outages and I only got back to the office at 19h00 and got home to no electricity ... our power was eventually back on at 20h00 just in time for me to watch The Bachelor.
