Weekend roundup ...

Saturday started out with a trip to the gym with Wendy and Connor ... I did 12 minutes on the treadmill and then the rest of the hour I spent working on the upper body machines ... This morning my muscles were telling me that they had worked and it feels good!!!!  Exercise does that!

After gym we popped past Wendy and had a banana, peanut butter & honey smoothie (yum! yum!! yum!!!!!) and a cuppa coffee for breakfast.

The ingredients and the result ... YUM!!!

When we got home I had a lovely long shower and left conditioner in my hair and did a face mask ... and then the dreaded plucking of the eyebrows.  While waiting for the face mask to dry I caught up on some mails.  My agenda was that I would spend the rest of the day scrapbooking but that just didn't happen instead I caught up on TV (my very favourite past time!!!).  Linda Wood popped past for a quick visit and to copy some photos and before I knew it I was exhausted and ready for bed.

Sunday ... This morning started with Richard going out for a ride with Schatzie and then meeting Mitch for breakfast to plan their November trip.  I stayed in bed a bit late, (is 7 late?) then got up and got straight to my scrapbook table and sorted out the photos for the scrapbook job I have been super procrastinating about and when I got the photos out I saw why ... the photos were just lumped together without any order whatsoever!!!  Had to find my crystal ball again!!!

This afternoon we visited the Rheinicke's and dropped off and assembled the shelves I got for their garage (another tick on the "October Actions").  We had a lovely visit with them and only left near 6h30 (which made us late for dinner!).  When we got on the highway there was a terrible traffic jam - like Monday morning peak hour traffic - Eventually the 7pm news revealed that the traffic was for the Rihana concert at the FNB stadium.

I was devastated to find that Downton Abbey ended last weekend so instead I watched Million Dollar Intern and Secret Millionaire.

Hope you have had a restful weekend and are ready for the week ahead!!!

Here are some photos from our afternoon ...
