Happy Birthday Wendy!!! a.k.a. My Little Sister

Today I had a Manco Meeting in Clearwater so as usual I got on the road early and on the highway I saw the making of a stunning sunrise so I got this shot in my rear view mirror.  I decided to spend some time at McDonalds at Town Square ... they make a really good cuppaccino and I got some work done before I drove to Clearwater.  We had a really good meeting and I enjoyed interacting with the Managers and the new area manager.

Today also marks my Little Sister's 47th birthday and she kindly took Connor to the tailor to have his suit for his matric dance altered and then dropped him and Byron at school and later fetched them again.
After work I went to the shops and got some ice cream and the makings of a bar-one chocolate sauce and went through to her house early to see what I could do to help with dinner preparations.
I was surprised to see Connor at her house as I thought he had gone home after school but it was a lovely surprise.  We gave her her gifts ... Connor and Courteney (who I chatted to on Facebook to get gift ideas) gave Wendy a bracelet, smoked beef crisps (I once sent a box to Germany with two packets of smoked beef crisps in it), chocolate eclairs, socks and a nail buffer.

I didn't take too many photos as I relegated myself to the kitchen to make sure the dishes were done after I made a delicious chocolate sauce and served dessert.  I did however get this cute picture of Liam ... he said I should take it with the chalkboard in the background which says "Laugher  is brightest where food is best".
We had a lovely evening filled with good food, great dessert and the wonderful company of family.

    1. Hi Desire, I agree ... Sometimes the only way I can get a photo of the sunrise is in the mirror.
