The week in review

I cannot believe that a whole week has passed by in a flash ... So here is my week in review ...

I have had a pretty busy week with interviews, performance discussions, meeting new staff and lots and lots of e-mails and another album done.

My colleague Mary has been off on study and exam leave for most of the past three weeks.  On the days that she has been in the office she has completed a huge amount of work for us.  I decided to surprise her with a little "Thank you" gift ...

My colleague Delphine has been battling with the flu this week so I left a couple of oranges on her desk with a note ...

This was another gorgeous sunrise greeting me at my desk.
My oldest nephew Nicholas and his gorgeous wife Salma celebrated their wedding anniversary on 1 May and they went to Zimbali on the KZN north coast to celebrate.  Salma asked if I would do a little album for Nicholas as a "Thank You" for the weekend.  Here is what I put together ...

I went onto the internet and copied their logo for this background page. I used the extra strip n the facing page.

I have had this piece of paper in my stash forever and was very happy to find the perfect page to use it on.
I just LOVE this photo of Salma's eyes.  When I looked at the photo carefully I could see Nicholas' reflection there.

For this page I stamped the background with my new heart stamp ~ I really like the end result.

I also got to use some beach stickers that I have had in my stash for a long time

This was the first time in a really long time that I have made a shaker box ... Salma sent some of the small stones and seashells which she collected at the beach and I put them to good use.

I made this text box so that Salma can write a message to Nicholas.

Well, that's my week!  Hope your week has been kind to you.
