A rather productive weekend ....

Saturday was our Scrap Addicts monthly scrapbooking date ~ This month we had it at our house which was really nice as I didn't have to pack anything or travel anywhere.  The girls arrived between 8 and 8:30.  I had baked us some cheese muffins and we enjoyed them with tea/coffee and eventually got to the scrapbooking table after catching up with each other.  Linda supplied a chicken dish for lunch and Alison bought us the most beautiful cup cakes ... which we enjoyed with an afternoon cuppa tea.

My "to do" list in my trusty "Thingz To Do" notebook has been piling up and yesterday I decided to tackle one of the projects which is decorating notebooks for gifts for friends and family.  Here are some of them that I made ...

I will be popping out to the post office during my lunch tomorrow to post some of them. 

I have my own trusty notebook of THINGZ TO DO which is my constant companion ~ If I don't write things down I tend to forget and if I write them down then often I don't even have to refer to the notebook. 

Today I got some of the things in the notebook done and now I can tick them off!!! YAY!!!

 A haircut was an absolute necessity ... The last time I cut it was 1 February 2012).  I popped into Paul James @ The Glen first thing when we got there and a gorgeous young guy, Brandon, cut my hair ... I am VERY happy with how he cut it.

I then took Connor for breakfast, did some clothes shopping for him, popped into Vodacom and upgraded my cell, bought some envelopes at PNA to post some of the notebook gifts and then home.

Another thing I did last night was to make two birthday cards which I will be posting tomorrow ... They are really lovely cards.
