Father's Day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY all you Daddies!!!

Connor is really good with his"long arm" shots.
We were up early this morning to go hiking at Groenkloof with our friend Colin.  We stopped off at Woolies and got rolls and cold meats for brunch.  We walked 8.3km's and I battled along as my hiking boots were hurting my toes.  Today we saw 6 giraffes (closer than we have ever seen them at Groenkloof before), one sable (at a distance), a few kudu, some springbok and one egret.  NOT ONE Zebra!!!  Connor says they were indoors sleeping late.

Connor and I just got back from The Glen as he had to get a new calculator for the exam tomorrow and a Father's Day gift for Richard  ~ we got a rain cover for his backpack for when he hikes the Fish River Canyon at the end of next month ~ after this hike he will have hiked 2 of the 3 largest canyons in the world (Biggest = Grand Canyon (which will have to wait for a while!!!LOL!!!) 2nd = Blyde River Canyon which we hiked about 18 years ago 3 = Fish River Canyon).

Yesterday I had a lovely gentle day scrapbooking with Alison ~ Unfortunately none of the other Scrap Addicts were available so it was just the two of us.

Wishing you all a stunning week.
