Today is National Scrapbooking Day and we are attending Lara Hanna of Scrapbook 'n Things movie themed day which is being held at Harveston Retirement Village in Honeydew.
Lara threatened us with our lives if we arrive before 9am so Ali and I were rebellious and decided to go for a leisurely breakfast at M&B first and crochet for a bit. We arrived around 10 ... by which time Leonie was ready to send out a rescue mission.
Lara really went out of her way to make the day special ... There were movie posters across the venue, we had intermission instead of tea time where we got popcorn, cold drink and a sweet, we had a packet of sweets on our table and movie themed goodies. We had hotdogs for lunch and popcorn cupcakes for afternoon team. Thank you for making it such an awesome day Lara.
The Cape Town girls sent us a photo from their function and were also having a ball.
