18 - 19 January 2020: I am spending the weekend with Ali to celebrate our Capricorn Birthdays. Unfortunately Leonie is not able to join us as her daughter is moving house and needs her support.
We started out the morning with coffee and then we exchanged gifts.
When I opened my gift it was like a "grown-ups lucky packet" ... which contained
- a bright pink portable fan with a mister in it;
- the yummiest fudge and choccies from Woolies;
- a gift voucher for a Coffee & Crochet date;
- a beautiful burnt orange scarf;
- a gratitude journal;
- AND THEN .... OMGoodness!!!!!! A BEAUTIFUL crocheted knee blanket.
Ali wrote me a beautiful note saying that I crochet blankets for other people and never keep anything for myself so she made me this blanket. I had NO clue that she was doing this for me! Thank you my friend!!! I will treasure this forever.
