18 December 2016: Jenny and I arranged for us 5 sisters to meet for breakfast this morning at French Toast in Hartebeespoort. We had a pleasant drive through (4 of us in one car from Jhb) and Jenny was waiting for us and had dressed the table beautifully with a hand made metal Christmas tree, Christmas crackers and a jar of mints for each of us ... Thanks Sister!!!! Wendy added the glass bottle with a beautiful bead angel ... my bottle says "Life is a beautiful ride". It felt very festive!!!
We had delicious food ... I had French Toast with banana and peanut butter sauce served with cream - Only complaint is it could have been warmer and have a little more peanut butter sauce.

The service was awesome ~ not only from our really cute waiter Iaan but from all the wait staff and the setting is conducive to a relaxed visit and they don't make you feel rushed even if there is a queue of people waiting for a table. Jenny had a friend's little dog with her and they kindly filled the water bowl for her a number of times. Wendy of course caused the poor waiter to blush so I took a photo of her with him.
These cute ducks waddle around and add more charm to the setting.
I gave each of my sisters a hand made bag (thanks Tannie Lenie) with
their names embroidered on it (thanks AnnaMarie) with a couple of
goodies in it. I got Wendy the perfect PJ's ... and of course she lived up to it totally ...
It is important to take photos at the Eiffel Tower and a young couple reciprocated by taking photos of us after Jenny took photos of the two of them together ...

To add to the atmosphere this young lady walked around playing French songs on her piano accordion ... it made me think of my Grampa York who was an absolute master.
