We're already half way through the weekend!!!

Friday 9 January 2015 : After dropping the boys at college I met my special friend Linda Le Warne for an early birthday breakfast ... We met at Tasha's in Nicolway and had a wonderful time catching up and chatting up a storm.  I had a Mr Paw Paw which is paw paw halved and smothered in plain yoghurt and topped with almonds and honey.

She spoiled me rotten, again .... The Yankee Candle is Vanilla Satin and smells divine, a candle with beautiful words on it and a purse with a Gift Voucher to my local scrapbooking shop ~ I can still indulge in my hobby although I am on "diet"!!!

Last night my boys finished the shelves on Connor's wall unit and then the fun of sorting the books alphabetically began ~ I have always wondered how it feels to be a librarian!  Look how amazing it looks ...

Deservedly proud!!!!
After watching New Tricks with my hunny I sat down to make a wedding card for Crystal and Ashwin.  Noleen and Gordon have been friends with Crystal's parents forever and Gordon is the MC at the wedding.  I was a bit worried that the card was a bit wild but Noleen seemed to like it.

Before going to bed I quickly packed for our Scrapbooking day ... I packed SERIOUSLY lightly!!!!

Saturday 10 January 2015 :  Linda Wood picked me up at 7h15 and we were both wearing the t-shirts she got for us for Christmas.  We drove through to Leonie's house in Pretoria and stopped at Woolies to get something for morning tea.

After coffee we popped out to Aquilla Scrapbook Shop where the girls got some supplies and I very proudly stuck to my "diet".

We had a stunning day scrapping and catching up and then had a wonderful lunch of chicken livers and bread rolls and spaghetti bolognaise.  Afternoon tea of pecan pie rounded off the wonderful meal.

So that's our first official scrap day of the year done ~ and the day sped past!!!

 Leonie's cats are absolutely precious
Ali spoiled me with a new knitting bag and some wool for my birthday!
I'm off to do some tidying/sorting somewhere in the house (soo much to do!!!).

Hope you all had a stunning Saturday!!!

  1. Great t-shirts. My wife Robin is scrapbooking right now. She and her friends are spending the whole weekend doing that.
