Weekend Roundup ~ Part 1

I can't believe it is 9 days since I last updated my blog!!!!  I did a draft last weekend and then didn't get a chance to publish it.  So here goes on a double Weekend Roundup with a week in-between!!!!  I will only give the highlights as some of the days are a bit of a blur!!!

Friday 9 November : Took the family for dinner at Fego @ The Glen.  Did some quick errands while there and then came home and finished off "The Little Girl Project" ~ What FUN that was!!!  So I can now tick off Item 8 on my November Actions List.  The project was delivered on Wednesday and I got a message from Brendon on Friday that his wife loved it!

Saturday 10 November : We went to the Fegen Girls birthday party.  They had a Minions themed party.  I was thoroughly exhausted so battled to keep awake but did enjoy the company of my hunny.
Ciane ... such a rough and tumble little girl had an absolute ball
Kiara is a stunning 12 year old little lady!
My gorgeous boys!!!

Wednesday 13 November was our Monthly Sisters Dinner.  Wendy had chosen the Harvard Café at The Rand Airport as our venue for dinner and we were meeting at our house so we would all travel together.  Unfortunately the heavens opened with thunder, lightening, hail and LOTS of rain so we decided to go to The Glen (the road to Rand Airport is not great during the day so in a storm like that it would be even worse) and ended up at Mugg & Bean ~ unfortunately the food was mediocre although the service was quite good.  Wendy gave us each a tin of wafer sticks and I got the girls a tin of fudge with a fridge magnet for Norma and Wendy and a key ring for Noleen

When I asked Richard if he could see why I would have bought this exact one his immediate response was because there are four of you!  So observant my hunny is!!!!

I ordered a cuppaccino with froth and when it came it was really interesting that it had a scorpion in the froth as it would have been my Mother-in-law's birthday and she was a Scorpio.
And now the interesting part ... taking photos of us girls

And then one of the waiters came over and asked if he could take a photo of the four of us ... again too much background but he did quite a good job ...

    1. It was a whirlwind of a week and I was so happy that Brendon liked the baby album and that his wife was happy with her gift.
