A quick roundup

I just downloaded photos off my camera and wanted to share them in a quick roundup ...

This is Cradlestone Mall ... Our new branch opened in the centre on 20 November 2013.
On Friday 15 November I visited the branch and this is what I saw ...
Our tellers being trained in hard hats and the banking hall in utter disarray.  I thought that there was no ways that the branch would be ready on time.

On Wednesday morning, much to my utter amazement, our branch opened it's doors.  This is what the previous photo was transformed into ...
These are the teller counters ...
These are the banker pods ...
And these are our bankers ...

Puleng (oops didn't check that her eyes were open!!!)
Edna
and the rose amongst the thorns ... Martin
Maud from training with Tsepiso and Patrick underneath giving his best Nedbank smile.
Roxy and Sarah strike a pose
The first client to open an account in the branch
After a miserable day on Friday this was the spectacular sunset ...
I spent the day with Alison, Leonie and Lynette.  They all scrapbooked and I made cards.  After dinner we popped past Wendy to say Happy Birthday to Jarod and give him his gift...

Today when Noleen popped past to drop off her recycling I gave her these gifts to keep at her house.
I spent time today writing my gift tags and placing them on the gifts ~ I am now 93.5% complete with my Christmas shopping.

Here are some of the Christmas cards I made ...

And this is the card that I made for my sisters ...

I am off to bed!  Hope your weekend was super-awesome!!!!

  1. You really pack a lot into your days. I remember when my man was still into retail how they workec through the nights the last month before an opening. I am pretty Sure that a lot of hard work went into the opening of the new branch. Your Christmas cards are lovely.

  2. Lynn, I just love the beautiful festive Christmas cards you made. I am sure the recipients will treasure them. The new branch looks amazing and so welcoming with all those smiling and friendly staff - I am sure you have loads to do with that.
