Umhlanga ... Chapter 3

Sunday 29 September ... this morning the weather was a bit clearer so we walked into the village and had breakfast at Vovo Telo ... they have a lovely menu and as Richard had already eaten cereal he had a cupcake of sorts, Connor had a croissant, Byron had buttermilk hotcakes and I had French toast.
Connor and Byron also had a hot chocolate which was melted chocolate with a dollop of cream in it ... would have been perfect poured over a bowl of ice cream!!!
I loved the reflections in the tea pot

My most favourite person in the whole wide world!!!!
Connor still has his arm band on from U-Shaka
My French Toast
Byron's Hot Cakes with marscapone cheese and honey

The proof that the Chocotelo is really thick ... after licking his lips Connor still had a chocolate line on his lip ...
Triceratops @ CNA!!!
After breakfast we popped into CNA and then walked back to the flat via the beach walkway and the boys decided that as the sun was kinda shining the boys got their costumes on and rushed down to the beach.  They weren't gone too long and came back as the sea was quite rough.  They got showered and then back down to the beach for a walk.  We went looking for them and after watching Big Bang Theory we went to Gateway and had dinner at McD's and then played 2 Ten Pin games ... I won the first game and Byron won the second.  The boys wanted to play a game of pool so we walked around the shopping centre and waited for them.

It is difficult to think that we are going home tomorrow ... a week has passed by really quickly however we have had a really wonderful break.

When at the beach you really need a photo with the sea behind you ... so I found this hunk and asked him if I could take a photo of him!!!
I wish I had a photo of this board for each day that we were at the coast ...

Some more cuties I found at the beach ...
Walking back to the flat I took these photos of the sunset ...
We had such a lot of fun bowling ...
Bam!!!!!  That's how you throw a strike!!!!
Yep!!!!  That's how it's done!!!!
Celebrating a strike!

Connor put his cap on my head and then said "Pout Mom!!!"
Richard had a strawberry milkshake and I had a whizz with peanut butter and peanut pieces ... not as good as I thought it was going to be!!!

  3. You have a wonderful way of documenting your life. A week is just too short. We usually take two weeks at a time to really feel rested.
