The Rabbit Hole

My friend Samantha's friend Janine Hix reads my blog regularly and suggested that we meet up so we can get to know each other face-to-face ~ I had met her briefly at Sam's Pamper Party and also at her wedding but being Sam's maid of honour she was very busy at both occasions.  So we put it in our diaries ... otherwise how do we ever get anything done ... and today was the day.  I was up early and got ready ... popped past Westpack at Lifestyle to plan party packs for Madison's birthday, went past Bonsai Huisie to collect some scrapbooking packs and then on to lunch.

The Rabbit Hole in Krugersdorp (just past Key West Shopping Centre) and is a little gem of a place where the food is delicious and beautifully presented and the décor really interesting and eclectic/bohemian.

We had a wonderful afternoon filled with great food and wonderful company and we chatted up a storm.  Thanks for arranging the lunch Sam!!!

Michelle and I had Pasta Alfredo
The other girls had chicken schnitzel
Dessert ... Banoffee Pie ... First time I had it
The Rabbit Hole is also a guest house and we had an opportunity to look at two of the rooms ... everything is very bohemian.

  1. What a lovely post.

And if you don't mind me cluttering up your blog, I'd like to say something. And I mean it. You are a wonderfully nice person. The gestures you make, the kindnesses you extend are really, really sweet. I'm floored by the supportive things you say to me and I see you being equally nice to other bloggers. You're an exceptional person and I wish the world had more people like you.
