Workers Day

We had a public holiday in South Africa today ... It was so wonderful to have a break in the middle of the week.  Here is some information about the holiday ...

I spent my day scrapbooking with Alison, Leonie and Lynette at Alison's house ... we had a wonderful time filled with great company and yummy food (chicken pie, home made oven chips and cabbage salad followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard).

Here is what I worked on ...

This is one of the pages we did in Cullinan ... I finished it off with a hand cut title and a journalling block.  I really like this layout and will definitely do another version of it with different colours.
This is one of the extra pages I did in Cullinan and forgot to photograph.

Another page with a hand cut title ... When we first started scrapbooking we used our stencils ALL the time.

I saw this cute page in the Creating Keepsakes magazine and am using it as inspiration for my next page (see next photo) ... I had finished the base of the page and worked on the placement of my photos so I took a photo so I can refer to it when I work on finishing the page off ... once it is finished I will share the page.
On my way home I took these two photos of the gorgeous sunset ...

Hope you all had a stunning day ... Now I am going to watch Elementary and remind myself that I have to go go work tomorrow and that it is not Sunday!!! LOL!!!!!
