We had our HR Conference at The Premier Hotel, OR Tambo ~ I didn't even know this hotel existed ... it is a really stunning venue for a Conference. We spent Thursday morning in conference mode and then the afternoon was spent with Celynn Erasmus who is a nutritiionist and her partner Joni. It was a lovely ending to the day. The evening's theme was "Out of your Comfort Zone" ~ I wore HUGE pink earrings, a leopard print holder for my cell phone and all of our team wore red lipstick. There was a prize giving where our team won for the most scarves knitted for charity!!! We got Woolworths vouchers and all the girls gave me their vouchers to give to Mom for her help. We had s tunning dinner followed by an evening filled with the fun of Bingo ~ the guy who did the Bingo for us does this for free with the proviso that you give a donation to charity. He mixed it up the whole evening and even those of us who said we were going to bed early stayed and played until the end.
Friday we spent doing team presentations and planning for the rest of the year and then thankfully we finished off a bit early ... although the traffic from the airport side of town is ALWAYS busy!!!
I drove through to Alison's house and popped into Woolies across the road to get ingredients for cheese muffins. We had a cuppa coffee and decided to go to Simply Asia for dinner ... We had a lovely time and when we got back to her house we sorted ourselves out and started scrapbooking. I got two pages done and went to bed at 01h30 after a lovely long bath.
