18 November 2018: Yesterday I got a What'sApp from Wendy: "Hi sista, what you got planned for tomorrow?" Me: "Nothing". Wendy: I'm going to trawl Rosebank mall and rooftop market. Keen to trawl with me? Looking for some Christmas gifts for the kids".
We planned to meet at 10ish but Wendy got tripped up on her route by the 94.7 Cycle Challenge and had to drive a round-a-bout route. While waiting I sat down on a bench and crocheted a couple of rows on a square I was working on.
It was incredibly hot in the rooftop market but we ambled around and I found this gorgeous painting which I snapped up for Steph for Christmas. The artist was such a lovely guy.
We had a delicious juice from one of the vendors. We found a t-shirt for Richie (a belated birthday gift from Wendy) and a beaded key ring for Liam then walked through the Craft Market and Wendy found a bag for Courteney. We walked around the mall and ended up at the Spar Cafe for some lunch then walked through the Spar.
