AN AWESOME EASTER WEEKEND

I had a stunning Easter Weekend ...

Friday morning I was up early and out the door to join Ali and Leonie for a church service at Honeyridge Baptist Church.  We spent the rest of the day scrapping at Ali's house.

Saturday morning I did ParkRun ... Congratulations on completing your 49th parkrun and your 12th at Victoria Lake parkrun today.
Victoria Lake parkrun results for event #87. Your time was 00:56:01.

Sunday morning I met Ali at her house and we scrapped for an hour before going to Easter Monday church service at Honeyridge Baptist Church.  We met Wendy for lunch at Lifestyle Garden Centre ~ We went to the Moroccan Restaurant (don't know the name) and I had a Big Boy Burger which is topped with onion rings ... it was really tasty.  Ali and I scrapped at her house for the rest of the day.

Monday morning saw Richie out the door quite early for a ride and I left the house at 07h45 to take his car for a wash.  When I got home Connor and I went back to the carwash with his car and mine and he had breakfast at Mugg & Bean while I crocheted and drank a coffee.

When we got home Connor jumped in the shower to get ready for our trip to Rosebank Mall.

After doing some shopping at Woolies we went to Plan B ... which Connor and Steph discovered recently.  This is what they say on the internet ...
From the brilliant minds that brought us Wakaberry, comes Plan B Dessertery, a proudly KwaZulu-Natal brand nestling itself into the super sleek corridors of  The Zone @ Rosebank.

With a focus on innovative and exciting desserts, the inspiration for Plan B Dessertery comes from internationally popular street food desserts. Foods that are easy to hold, and ones that you don’t have to sit down with a knife and fork to eat. Their bubble waffles originate from Hong Kong, and churros and tacos from Mexico.
The fourth in a chain of Plan B Dessertery stores to open, The Zone @ Rosebank branch is the first to arrive in the City Of Gold, giving sweet tooth enthusiasts a unique opportunity to try these fun desserts. Each Bubble Waffle, taco, sugar cone and churro is made fresh while you wait, and is topped with a variety of delicious treats to satisfy even the sweetest tooth.

Richie, Connor and Steph all had a bubble waffle and I had a taco with caramel ice cream, caramel sauce and nuts ... definitely worth another visit.

We then popped in to drop off some treats with my friend Nats' father-in-law at the Retirement Village where he lives.  Unfortunately he was having a lie down so we couldn't visit with him.

All in all an absolutely awesome weekend.
