Thursday 4 January 2018: We were aiming to go to Gengi's for dinner but when we got there they were fully booked so we tried The BackYard Bar next door. I was a bit worried as it looked a bit dark and dingy but once we got in it was anything but. The service and food were both excellent and after dinner the girls challenged the boys to a game of pool ... Now anyone who knows me knows that pool is not something I am any good at ... but I couldn't let the girls down and sit on the sideline |

And of course the boys look like absolute professionals ... the proof of a misspent youth (that's what my hunny always says!)
And then Natalie takes the cue and looks like a professional!!!!
Even Kelly looked like she had been at the table before!!!
And then it was my turn ... Well at least I got
to sink the #13 ball and another 3 or 4 ... First time ever!!! Last time I
played I hit the white ball and it bounced over the ball it was supposed
to hit and off the table. We have decided that we are going to
practice really hard so when we next challenge the boys that we have a legitimate chance of winning.
The manager of the pub eventually came over to chat and we felt like we were being thrown out because all the staff were ready to go home.
