70th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

4 February 2018: Our friend Steve Cresswell turned 70 on 31 January 2018 and we were invited to celebrate with him today.

We haven't been to Buitengeluk before and were pleasantly surprised by the venue which is a few different venues set in a very pretty garden.  Once we had greeted Steve and his wife Linda and had a quick chat with my friend Marian (their daughter) we took a walk around the garden.

We had a stunning afternoon filled with awesome people, wonderful food and good music.

 I had this delicious pistachio meringue for dessert ... It was really good and Richie had the chocolate fondant which was a hundred times better than the one he had at Back O' The Moon on my birthday.
