WE HAVE A DATE!!!!!

When we decided to spend Christmas in New Zealand this year we were not to know of an unexpected joy that would be added to our trip ~ And that was when Jo and Scotty let us know they were expecting a baby and that they would hopefully welcome their baby while we were there.

Each time we spoke to Jo and asked if she had a date the answer was "they (being the doctor and midwife) are still waiting" so each day we got increasingly nervous that Little Peanut Parker would arrive after we leave on 5th January ~ I kept threatening Jo to make her run around the block in the scorching heat!!!

28 December 2018: Today we were out when Jo called to ask if they could come round for coffee so we quickly made a plan to see them ... They were ecstatic to tell us that the doctor had given them a date of the 30th December ... YIKES!!!! That is in 2 days time!!!!!

Now the excitement is really mounting that we know we are going to meet this precious little person before we leave to go home.

Now Nats and I know how we are going to feel when our first grandchild is on the way ... I know we couldn't love Jo more if she was our own child.
