10 December 2017: I arranged brunch with my sisters today as I leave for New Zealand next weekend. It was also an early birthday celebration for Norma ... it is her birthday on Friday 15 December.
Unfortunately Jenny couldn't make it so we arranged to meet at Miss Grace Country Food House which is part of the Thornbirds Conference and Wedding Venue in Eikenhof.
I ordered French Toast and my meal was horrible so the chef then made amends by serving me a toffee apple caramel cheese cake which was quite nice.
We swapped Christmas gifts which was really exciting.
There were two guys sitting at the table next to us and they offered to take some photos for us ... They had us laughing so hard that it was difficult to get a decent photo ...
