FERRY TO AUCKLAND

30 December 2017: Today was a first for my record book ... We took the Ferry from Birkenhead into Auckland town today and it was AWESOME!!! If I lived here I would definitely take the ferry to work.

This spectacular ship was in harbour in Auckland ... This photo doesn't do it justice.

One day I will go on a cruise on a ship like this.

 This young may was raising funds for a trip and Richard asked him to play Scotland The Brave ... I had to walk ahead of everyone so that I could wipe my eyes ... My Mom-in-law LOVED the bagpipes and every time I hear them played I think of her.

 We ambled around this centre today ... The Father Christmas on the side is HUGE!!!!

 Another first today ... We had lunch at Wendy's ~ They serve a really good chicken burger.

 Riche really doesn't like clothes shopping ... While we were in some store he sat looking a little forlorn outside ... I didn't leave him alone for too long!!!

 And then our trip back again was just as good as going into town.
