A SURPRISE WEDDING ALBUM ~ Part 1

Jo asked me to bring back all the stuff I didn't use in her wedding album ... Little did she know that I had planned to put all those things into another album ... I brought the album with us to New Zealand to surprise her with it.

Here is the front page of the album ... I think it is as beautiful as the one I did in the formal album!

 I just LOVE this page ... I wanted to put it in the first album but couldn't figure out where I could put it.

 So then it starts with the decisions ... Which "Save The Date"are we going to use?

 OK!  This is the one!!!

Then we have to find the PERFECT wedding invitation ... I actually found one of the invitations after I took the photo of this page.

 I had to do lots of booklets in this album to try and fit everything in ...

 Jo had kept everything in very neat order ... Just like Jo is!!!!  These are the notes about the wedding invitation paper and wording changes.

Then once you have decided on the date and the venue then the little girl who has dreamt about her wedding day her whole life comes out to play and the decision for the perfect dress starts ...

Jo kept all her notes so I used them in a little booklet on the page

It was wonderful to see the excitement when she first saw her dress.

 I had asked Jo to keep some of the material from her dress and I battled to decide how to use it and then eventually did this dress which has the material and lace used on her dress ... I think it came out rather nicely.

The lace I used on these two pages have been in my sewing stash for many many many years ... I was so happy to be able to use some of it in the album.

 The girls got dressed at Nats house and it was wonderful to be part of that. 

 This is the actual clip that Jo wore in her hair.

I had to take this page out of the album when transporting it to New Zealand as I didn't want it to  damage the other pages in the album.

 The tiny little photo in the silver frame on this page was in Jo's bouquet ... It is the same photo on their "Save The Date"cards.  I restrung the pearls and diamantes that Jo had around the base of her bouquet and I am hoping LeAndre doesn't want her bracelet back because I cut it to stick it flat on this page :) :) :)

 Jo and her wedding planner Debbie (who is also my friend Natalie's sister) designed this memory box for Jo's Mom ... It is absolutely beautiful and I did another booklet to house the photos.

Scott sent over a gift for his Wifey ... I managed to capture her opening the gift and it was very special ...

 And then this is the gift Jo sent to Scotty ... No photos of document his reaction unfortunately!!!
