Saturday

We had a date with Ali to go walking at Groenkloof today ~ unfortunately she was not feeling well so I accepted a breakfast invitation to Piatto in Bassonia from my sister Noleen ~ It was her birthday on Tuesday 25th and she invited the family to join her to celebrate with her. As usual my camera was in attendance!

After downloading my photos today I could not understand why so many of my photos were out of focus ~ I found that someone had changed the settings on my camera as that was why I battled to get decent photos ... I wanted photos of each of us against the gorgeous orange wall in the restaurant but they were unfortunately not crisp enough so I had to soften them up a bit.

Here are some photos to share ...
Even this photo is frustratingly out of focus!!!

Cousins ... Dean, Wesley and Connor
Dean, Gina and Wesley
Norma & Wesley

Connor and me
Gordon made sure he got hugs from all the sisters ...

My gorgeous niece/godchild Gina ... She turns 30 on 20 May which means on 25 July Richard and I celebrate the 30th anniversary of our first date!!!

Gordon is a spectacular Grampa and his grandchildren adore him as you can see from these photos of him and Bradley.
Dean saw his Grade 1 teacher Mrs Swan.  I remember her from when we first came to live in Johannesburg ... She told me that she started teaching at Rosettenville Junior School right out of college ~ we used to live across the road and I remember this VERY tall teacher who used to drive a blue beetle.  She hasn't changed much in the 41 years since I first saw her!  Dean adored her when he started school and much to his delight she remembered his name.

When we got home Mom asked me to drop her at the Casino and on our way home we stopped past Byron's house as Connor hadn't seen him in absolute ages.  He was on his way out with his girlfriend so we chatted to his Mom for a while and then went to Tulip Garden Centre for a caramel & banana pancake.

Last night I spent time at my scrapbook table finishing up some cards ... these are two of the cards I made and I really like how they came out ...
I also made a card for Sam to give to her Mom on her 60th birthday ...
On Friday evening I went into CNA and bought a magazine and also a set of stamps ... These are 2 of the stamps which I used on the cards ... they are gorgeous!!!

I decided to finish up the page I was designing for our June Scrap-a-Thon ... here is the result ....

I have done the packs ... All I have to do now is print the picture.

I have been rather productive this morning ~ paid the bills, did the filing, and now updated my blog.  I am going to print the pages for the packs and then go to my scrap table and do some sorting of photos ... Only got about 1,000 to do!!!  Eeeeeeek!!!!

Hope your Sunday is restful!!!
