SMILE ..... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! ............... FEELING APPRECIATED!!!

This morning when I went into the kitchen to make tea for my family I stood in front of the sink to fill up the kettle and smiled when I saw my purple violet in full bloom!!!  Isn't it gorgeous!!!???

Then I saw my little sunflower girl (made by my friend Terry about a hundred years ago!!) and it made me smile more ... what a wonderful way to start out the morning.

Today was Nedbank Integrated Channels Branch Networks Staff Appreciation Day.  I decided to spend the morning with our team at Illovo Branch ... I still left home early and drove through to Illovo ... Again I smiled when I saw the beautiful sunrise.  When I drove into the parking lot I found a spot to take a photo of the sunrise ... here is what I saw ...

 I had a cuppa coffee at the coffee shop in the Thrupps Centre and while trying to log onto my laptop I didn't smile but instead growled (Grrrr!!!) as this is what I saw ...

I had to switch my laptop off and on 4 times before I could log on!!!  So I nearly ordered one of these ...

The branch had organized coffee, rusks and some savoury bites to start off the day as they were having something special at lunch time ... The Branch Manager started off by thanking the staff for their contribution and then gave them their R150 Pick 'n Pay vouchers and a pack of popcorn.  We really work for a wonderful company!!!

The team then played 30 Seconds ... I became the "referee" as this game can really get out of hand ... and at the same time there was a lot of laughter.  I really enjoyed my morning.



 The very special team at Illovo ~ Sue, Marina (Branch Manager), Zelri, Ntokoza, Palesa, Luciah, Aadilah, Sydney and Charity.

I went back to the office and did some work before attending to a disciplinary hearing and afterwards we went to Mike's Kitchen in Parktown for our Staff Appreciation lunch ... I had a biltong & avo rump which was delicious.   

Our Regional Manager had an Eisbein for lunch and I asked him if I could take the bone home for Bandit .... he devoured the whole thing!!!

 All in all a lovely day ... Hope y'all had a Terrific Thursday!!!!
