Wednesday 9th March 2016: We booked into Diamond House in Camps Bay around 3.
This is my room which was light and airy ...
with a spectacular view of Lion's Head ...
Once we were settled we set off for Kirstenbosch Gardens and got caught in peak hour traffic ~ at 15h30!
We only explored part of the gardens as they are very large and you would need to spend a whole day there to explore the whole gardens ... but what we saw was spectacular!!!
We walked the gorgeous Tree Canopy Walkway ...I just loved this tree lined avenue ... spectacular!
These bonsai trees on display were between 90 and 150 years old ...
We stopped off in Camps Bay and got ourselves fish & chips at Ocean Basket and had a bit of an unpleasant experience with a car guard ... When we got back to our car it was not the guy who was there when we arrived so we refused to give him a tip and as we drove off he shouted after us "Next time you come here I am going to kill you" ... what a lovely experience for tourists!!!
We relaxed in Ali's room over dinner and a bottle of wine ... yes we finished the whole bottle and yes that is Ali and I drinking our second glass!!!
